Carnegie Hall 2020, Reply Requested
Hi Modern 3, 4, and 5,
Believe it or not, we are already beginning our planning for the 2020 Dance year, and the very first thing we have to confirm is whether or not we will be dancing at Carnegie Hall next January. We will not be participating in DanceFest if we dance at Carnegie Hall. The Carnegie Hall date is January 18, 2020 and we will be on stage for 10 minutes. The dancers will be in the Playbill, you will receive tickets for your family and your dancers will have an opportunity to dance on one of the most celebrated stages in the world!
The cost for dancing at Carnegie Hall will be divided among the number of dancers minus any fundraising that we do toward the event. An approximate total cost per dancer is $280, although, like I mentioned, this number may go up slightly or down, based on the number of dancers.
We will need to commit in the next month or two, although payments will not be due until the end of summer, so I am just trying to get a sense of how many dancers would be interested in this experience. Please email me back letting me know whether or not you would like to participate or not by April 28th.
