Hello all and Happy Valentine’s Day!
We hope that you are enjoying your winter and all of our recent snow.
1. Studio Closing for Winter Break
We wanted to let you know that there are no classes next Monday through Friday, February 20-24. There are classes on Saturday 2/18 and Saturday, 2/25, and there are some make up classes for Miss Rebecca and Miss Morgan’s Tuesday classes.
2. We have scheduled a Full Studio rehearsal for Sunday, April 23rd. All dancers from all classes will participate in our rehearsal which will take place at Studio D. As we get closer to this date, we will let you know what time your class will be rehearsing; you will not need to be here the whole day. Our show will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 3rd and 4th, as it states on our calendar. Once we have specific tech and dress rehearsal dates and times confirmed, we will let you know.
3. In preparation for our Spring performance, we will be asking that each family volunteer in some way to help with the production so that everything runs smoothly. We will be in touch with a sign up sheet soon; but to give you a preview, we usually need help for the following:
-Move In
-Move Out and Clean up
-Snack, DVD and Merchandise sales
-Child Watch
-Runners
-Back Stage, including props, curtain, quick change, etc.
4. Also, just a reminder to older dancers to please clean up after themselves in the Studio and to parents of younger dancers, please pick up things that spill in the hallway and the bathroom. Thank you very much for your help in this area!
