Core strength, flexibility, and anatomical awareness will be emphasized in this 60minute class. PILATES mat exercises focus on the coordination of your breath and motion building long lean muscles and increased coordination. These classes literally help you find your center and strengthen it while allowing increased mobility in other joints in your body. You will learn to isolate small muscle groups which will allow you to move more efficiently, finding your internal grace and strength simultaneously.
This class will leave you with a series of exercises that you can add to your repertoire and take with you wherever you go.

Pilates Mat and Stretch Class – all ages- adults welcome
Acro-Yoga and Partnering Class – all ages- (younger than 4th grade not recommended)
- Hair needs to be pulled up off the face and neck and must be out of your eyes.
Short hair: Clipped away from the face.
Long hair: Hair must be pulled back and worn up off the neck.
- Wear form fitting dance wear such as a leotard and footless tights or a dance tank top with dance pants/yoga pants. (Dance shorts over tights are fine too). Black is preferable for Modern.
- No shoes are required for Modern Dance, Choreography class, Gymnastics or Pilates/Yoga classes.
